Kuan Hong (Chinese: 官鴻; pinyin: Guān Hóng , built-in fifteen January 1995), likewise known equally Kuan Hong or Darren Chen, is a Taiwanese actor and model. He is best known for his roles in Meteor Garden (2018), My Unicorn Girl, The Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty (2020), No Boundary season 1 (2021) and No Boundary season 2 (2021).
Early life and education [edit]
Darren Chen was built-in on January xv, 1995 in Taiwan. He graduated from the Taipei Municipal Heping High School.[1]
Career [edit]
2016–2018: Beginnings and rise popularity [edit]
In 2016, Chen fabricated his acting debut every bit Lin Yutang in the youth fantasy spider web serial Proud of Dearest and its sequel.[2] [three]
In 2017, Chen was cast in the role of Huaze Lei by Angie Chai in the 2018 accommodation of Shooting star Garden, based on the Japanese shōjo manga series Boys Over Flowers ( 花より男子 , Hana Yori Dango ) written by Yoko Kamio.[4] [five] He appeared in Harper's Bazaar China with his Meteor Garden costars Dylan Wang, Connor Leong, and Caesar Wu in the Nov event.[ citation needed ] The series was offset broadcast in Hunan TV in nine July 2018, and Chen rose to fame.[6] The same year was confirmed to brand his big screen debut with a guest appearance in the romance comedy film Oversize Love.[7]
2019–present: Leading roles [edit]
In 2019, Chen was cast in his showtime leading office in the historical mystery drama The Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty, produced past Jackie Chan. The serial premiered on iQiyi on Apr i, 2020.[8] [nine] The aforementioned twelvemonth, he starred in the youth sports drama My Unicorn Girl.[10]
In 2021, he starred in the TV Series, No Boundary and No Purlieus Season 2.
